Two trolley movies...

Postby efin98 » Fri Mar 11, 2005 3:47 pm

The Boston Public Library has two movies online that are after railfans' hearts. They are trips through Boston on vintage 1900 era tolleys, one via the streets of Boston and one via the new Tremont Street Tunnel.

They are well worth the look if you have the time...

Wonderful! Thanks for posting these links. Really worth viewing. So many landmark remain the same.

Some highlights for those who didn't see the movies:
1. a run through the Tremont Steet tunnel and a close up view of the upcoming El on each end...
2. the ORIGINAL North Station
3. Copley Square and signs of steam era Back Bay station
and much, much more...
