A couple of pictures from Universal Hub, posting the image url as I am not sure about posting the pictures without getting scolded.

For the Type 7 on the truck (3614 it looks like?) perhaps it is the first car going out to Alstom for overhaul? If it is a very recent photo, then that's my guess.

EDIT: Going back and looking directly at the photos on Universal Hub, the Type 7 photo is listed as being from yesterday, Friday (makes sense with the rain). So I'd say it's on its way to Hornell. The Boeing photos are listed as "earlier", so my guesses below still stand.

As for the Boeing pictures, I'd imagine they're slightly older (only a few years though), since I don't believe there have been any Boeings remaining on property for about two years now. For the one on the flatcar, I'd guess that was one of the cars sent out to TTCI in Pueblo for crash testing. I have no idea about the one on the truck, so sorry, don't think I can help you there.

I believe the Boeing on the flatbed truck was 3424 being shipped from Riverside to the Seashore Trolley Museum up in Maine.

Thanks for the link. I'm ashamed that I had to work my memory to come up with "Boeing-Vertol." :)

I have my own pictures of 3614 at Riverside on the flatbed truck showing the full 163' length of the trailer. I will post them tomorrow.

A friend sent me this photo from the net, asking me where it was. I think that I know. Let's throw it out for guesses before I give out my guess. (Clue- If this is where I think that it is, it doesn't by strict definition adhere to the thread's title.)

My guess is the junction of Centre and Spring Streets, West Roxbury, almost opposite St. Theresa's Church.

Based on the curve , but not WROX , I'd say the Monument, Arborway bound.

That was my guess too, Highgreen - Centre at Spring curving into Centre heading inbound towards Forest Hills. That double sign was there for eons !I'm trying to look through the Type 5 beyond, as if it weren't there, you might see a New Haven steamer on the Spring St. Overpass on the Dedham Branch ! Great shot !
