I think the pneumatic drill into the concrete was to fix that water crack issue (You can see water on the platform), and put in the circuitry for the lights. I've never seen three exhaust vents for a staircase entrance, and judging from the color of the canopies in order going Eastbound it will be Wantagh (Blue), Seaford (Red), then Massapequa (Green).

The station looks beautiful, and to think that the last time I stood on that platform it was warped, bumpy, cracked, and corroded!
This station is Babylon, this is the train to Penn Station. Stopping at: Lindenhurst, Copiague, Amityville, Massapequa Park, Massapequa, Seaford, Wantagh, Bellmore, Merrick, Freeport, Baldwin, Rockville Centre, Lynbrook, Valley Stream, Jamaica, Kew Gardens, Forest Hills, Woodside, Penn Station.
