Metro-North/ConnDOT gave credits to monthly and weekly ticket holders due to a major problem once.

But the LIRR has many alternatives to get you into the Manhattan.

There have been a lot of people trying to get the 7 subway at woodside, and the extra train to HPA, connecting to the 7... which is burdening the 7 which has daily service problems of its' own, and runs at capacity.

Not a good week to be an lirr commuter, or even a Queens commuter.
