Anyone know which of the MP's was sitting in the dead line at morris park? I'm assuming it's still stored somewhere (heard they recently cleaned out that area).

The 162, 169, and 170. The 162 and 169 have been stored for close to two decades and heavily stripped, while the 170 suffered frame damage. Right now they are stored on track 4 in Morris Park.

They are not currently in danger of being scrapped due their incredibly good value of the switcher engine market.

170 doesn't have frame damage. The pilot is bent at an angle. If the LIRR wanted to repair the engine, they could. But they don't want to bother.

Yesterday RF1 with MP15AC #172 and #158 went by Queens Village at 11:23 AM in the morning westbound from Atlantic Pipe with 14 Gondola cars for Fresh Pond. #163 went by westbound at 12:17 PM in the afternoon towing 2 C3 cars for Morris Park. RF1 went back past Queens Village at around 2:10 PM in the afternoon light back to Atlantic Pipe from Fresh Pond. #171 was the Jamaica Protect in the morning until #163 took over after its arrival with the 2 cars which I just mentioned.

166 and 161 running westbound between Deer Park and Wyandanch with a cut of loaded ballast hoppers. Brakeman riding the last car. Both engine's paint in really bad shape. Could barely make out 161's number.

At 10:20 AM #154 and #157 were seen running light past Queens Village westbound on RF1 headed down to Fresh Pond to picked up Gondola cars. #157 and #154 were seen near Hillside Support facility this afternoon at 12:44 PM with the gondola cars headed eastbound.

I saw a video of 157 and 154 on Facebook. Looks like 154 has something painted on the side of the cab. Anyone know what this is?
