Wilson station looking good

Postby Passenger » Tue Oct 24, 2017 10:38 am

The east platform is now in service according to the new normal pattern.

The west platform was still using only one track this morning, but I suppose they will get it all hooked up correctly this week.

Kudos to the CTA on this one.

All track alignments corrected, and scheduling was perfect.

The Purple line train (that my Red line train previously had to wait to pass at Lawrence) did a perfect across the platform rendezvous at Wilson.

South of Wilson, who is the express didn't matter much if you were already on board, so rendezvous again at Belmont and Fullerton. For all that, the whole assemblage moved faster.

The south platform exits at Wilson are open "for emergency only" for now, but I'm guessing no more major construction down below.
