Has anyone taken the RCP?

- Rough cost?
- Quality?
- Railfan opportunities?

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know the Royal Canadian Pacific train no longer runs scheduled tours and hasn't for several years. The website says
Royal Canadian Pacific is available for private bookings only. If you are interested in chartering the Royal Canadian Pacific train for a single or multi day excursion please contact our office at info@royalcanadianpacific.com.

Private tour operators may run charter trips on the train but I don't know of any at this time.

I think Hunter Harrison stopped regular service as not cost effective.

I have not ridden the train, but I did get a brochure a few years ago. The rate was approximately $1,000 to $1,200 per day per passenger.
