We've also lost most of the C&NWs, too, though they've long been in shorter number.

Are these the yellowgreen ones of the same number range? Or a different unit type completely?

Thanks for the information;

Easter saw a purge on SP units;

Now just seven remain;

6236, 6248, 6310, 6318, 6367, 6379, 6406.

Conflicting reports on Hertiage Units suggested 6248 was done but a couple of recent photos on Flickr one only a couple of days ago still show in carrying the Southern Pacific flag. Did a YouTube on it and most recent ie middle of this month and still a SP unit.

I wouldn't bet on it. Someone in either Omaha or Little Rock committed to getting all the remaining SP, SSW, and CNW units into yellow & grey during 2018, and it seems to be happening...
