Kissimmee Valley Line remnants?

Postby drobertson » Thu Sep 21, 2006 8:06 pm

Are there any visible remnants of the Kissimmee Valley Line south of Maytown where it would have crossed the present day locations of SR 46, SR 50, SR 528, Nova Rd (Between Cocoa and St Cloud), or SR 192? Where there any stations in this area?

How far do the remains go north of Maytown towards NSB?

you can get off of 528 east at Dallas blvd (which was the KV line) and head south on the grade (in a 4wd) all the way to nova rd. I dont know who owns the land, but the gate is usually unlocked. Alotta big dump trucks coming out of there. Wewahootee rod intersects the grade at some point before nova rd, but it was night and I didnt see it.
