Old Conrail Plow Truck

Postby cr9617 » Fri Jul 07, 2017 11:27 am

While going through some of my old prints, I found a couple of pictures of an old plow truck taken in Selkirk in 1998. Does anyone know the story behind this truck? Or the make and model? Obviously predates Conrail.

Just a guess, but I'm wondering if that's what they used to plow the intermodal terminal.

Looks like a retired NY Thruway snow blower truck, that CR picked up at a NY State surplus equipment auction.
