I shot the train at Gurnee on 12/8/12, despite some questionable antics by the Gurnee police, I managed to get some shots! http://www.flickr.com/photos/eje665/825 ... hotostream

There were a lot of people there that were saying this could be the last year of the train, hope they're wrong!

The Holiday Train is getting ready to roll again for another year. The U.S. train departs from Montreal this Wednesday, November 26 with stops in Quebec before making a bee-line to Scranton PA. The Canadian train starts its journey the following day heading west from Montreal.

Details of the schedule are on the Canadian Pacific Railway web site:As always the goal of this train is to fight hunger by raising money and collecting non-perishable food items for local food banks.

CP Holiday Train - 2014

Postby AMTFan1 » Mon Dec 01, 2014 8:16 pm

The CP Holiday Train has made two stops this year at Montreal: one at the AMT Montreal-West station and the other at Beaconsfield. I had the chance to film it and to take pictures of it at Montreal-West. Here's the link to my video: http://youtu.be/Z_3M2lZSjVs
