If I remember right there are a few RS4-TCs still in US Military service. Also, about half of the RS4-TCs that were built are still running in tourist service.

BNSF still has at least one still in service. I think it's a VO1000

The beep, as it's known, is now stored, as of recently.

The "beep", even if it was still running, would hardly count as a real Baldwin..
the only Baldwin parts remaining are the frame and the cab..
the engine, trucks and long-hood are EMD..

It hasnt been a real Baldwin in 40 years! ;)

viewtopic.php?f=5&t=60783 just included a link to
http://baldwindiesels.railfan.net/exist ... roster.htm
Listed as operational (not all in regular service) as of May:
one VO-660
six VO-1000 (one at a museum)
one DS-4-4-750
five DS-4-4-1000
seven S-12
one AS-616
one RS-12 (I don't think this one is regularly working)
And in South America
possibly another AS-616 in Brazil
two RF615E (export Sharks) in Argentina - one preserved, the other a shop switcher?
Fan of late and early Conrail... also transition-era PRR, 70s Santa Fe, BN and SP, 70s-80s eastern CN, pre-merger-era UP, heavy electric operations in general, dieselized narrow gauge, transition-era DB and DR, modern EFVM and Brazilian railroads in general... why bother trying to list them all?

That's good to hear. Am I to assume that SMS is still or currently has a few of these dinosaur diesels on their property in use?
