Bangor and Aroostook Questions

Postby KSmitty » Sat Aug 25, 2012 5:50 pm

In looking through "Bangor and Aroostook in Color" from Morning Sun Books, I see that the B&A apparently had 2 early paint schemes.
502 is the obvious example of the first---> http://photos.nerail.org/showpic/?photo ... 18&key=MCM <--This seems to be the most common paint on the F's, but I also see pictures in the book of F's in a scheme similar to the BL-2's and early GP7's. --> http://photos.nerail.org/showpic/?photo ... 0Aroostook and http://photos.nerail.org/showpic/?photo ... 0Aroostook <--

That brings me to question 1. What were the F's delivered in, color wise, the blue/white/gold or the gray/lightgray/gold?

-When did the tracks onto the wharf at Searsport get ripped up and does MMA still own or use the wharf?
