Of the late trains: 47% were 29" or less late; 22% were 30" to 59" late; 20% were 1' to 2' late; 11% were more than 2' late; and <1% had no arrival time shown.
Less than a full complement of trains was reviewed in this period due primarily to programmed trackwork on the STL Corridor.
Services which showed improvement in both measured categories include: westbound Boston section of the Lake Shore Limited and the BUF and KCY Corridors; northbound Crescent; eastbound Lake Shore Limited; and both directions of the Pennsylvanian.
Of the 78 trains which were more than 2' late: the Capitol Limited accounted for 30; the eastbound Texas Eagle (on the STL Corridor) for 16; the Crescent for 15; and the Lake Shore Limited for 12.
Similarly, of the total delay minutes in this period: the STL Corridor accounted for 23%; the Capitol Limited for 16%; the Lake Shore Limited for 14%; and the Crescent for 13%.
Correction of the avoidable delays on these 4 services would greatly help the overall performance of the entire review, but there does not appear to be any evidence of such an effort.
