New Haven Motor Storage

Postby Milepost 110 » Tue Aug 28, 2018 7:22 pm

This weekend I was in a Metro North train to Grand Central when I noticed that the entire Amtrak Motor Storage yard in New Haven was completely vacant. There were a few P42s and sprinters stored on the center track in the station area without a platform (I forget the track number). Does anyone know why absolutely nothing was in the yard at all?

There is work being done on the weekends so track 6 is being utilized on weekends for storage instead of Parcel G.
