Monthly Performance Reports - gone from website?

Postby The Interloafer » Sat Nov 04, 2017 7:41 pm

Amtrak used to have a monthly report detailing ridership and revenue and other metrics by route. They were posted online at this link. I no longer see them. Anyone know what's going on? Are they gone for good or just somewhere else at Amtrak.com?

I agree Mr. Interloafer, I can't find them anywhere at this time - even using a desktop and full website.

I guess they figure if VIA Rail can get away with their opacity, why can't we?

Of course, there is the chance that they are still perfecting the new site. Why they needed a new site escapes me, but then they likely have a bloated "IT" department, plus consultants tripping over one another, that all need to justify their existence.

Thanks Mr. Norman. Argh this is disappointing. I enjoyed following along and watching as the numbers generally rose on various routes, including how my own travel played a (tiny) role. Hopefully they will restore the data.

Still no sign of them!
