Bloody Nose scheme - baggage carts

Postby Tadman » Thu Aug 31, 2017 12:38 pm

No joke. The guys at CUS have painted quite a few of their powered baggage carts in the GG1 bloody nose look. Platinum body, blue belt stripe, red nose above the blue stripe. I get a good chuckle when I see this. There's at least 5 of them running around, perhaps much more.

And the joke is (partly) that these are electric carts?

They are indeed electric. Some of the older ones are Elwell Parker battery units that are probably 50 years old.

My good electrician friend actually rebuilt one of these! The motor was still great..he did wiring, new batteries, and LED lighting.
New Westminster to Amtrak 516, whats up with the extra 4 axles, over?
