A few, 916, 941, and the 946. Those are some I have come across in the last week.

I was going to tell you to search but then I realized the thread on this board is closed and I was doing updates on another. Currently, Amtrak has the 908,914,916,919,920,921,923,924,929,934,939,940,941,942 and 946 active, although I expect 2 of those to drop off in a week or so. They are all remans which originally numbered 29. All of Amtrak's DC fleet is o/o/s and in a lot of cases, scrapped.

MARC still has the 4900, 4902 and 4903 in service. They are all DCs

I can only comment on SEPTA through visual observances and I have seen the 2300, 2307, 2305 and 2303 in the last two weeks. There may be more and they are all DCs.

There is also one lonely ALP-44 in service at SEPTA. It is the last one operating in the country although I'm not sure which class of ALP-44 it is. I suppose I could look ,but I really don't care enough to do so.

Perhaps you can wander down to the wayside and grab some pictures and keep a count.

Thanks for the update. SEPTA has AEM-7 2301 to 2307 (no # 2300) plus ALP-44M 2308

Can't remeber the last time I saw an AEM-7 (or for that matter a HHP-8) on a NEC train... the Sprinters are now everywhere!

Except for the MARC units, which aren't long for this world either.

you probably heard the news that SEPTA ordered 13 ACS-64's with 5 options and they're expected to be here in 2018

That was supposed to be the 2306. I saw the 2306.

At any rate, another one bites the dust:

Four were outside at 30th Street Monday afternoon. Perhaps some of them are on their way to retirement.

I saw one parked under the lower train shed at PHL yesterday. It was on the far-easterly station track at the northern tip of the platform coupled to something diesel.
