Boston Southampton Street Rail Yard Radio Freq

Postby bostonrailfan » Sat Apr 30, 2011 4:12 pm

I am looking for the Boston Southampton Street Rail yard frequency for my scanner and I haven't been able to find it. I have looked at every site and I have programmed the frequency that is stated, but when I have walked by the rail yard it sounds like they are on a different frequency that is listed. Does anyone know what that frequency is?

Quick question, while i am at work i listen to my scanner, i have heard the terminal train dispatcher at boston south station tell the engineer "okay to have the starter", what does that mean by "okay to have the starter"? I might use this for my book.
