How to make a transit map

Postby frischee112 » Sun Mar 25, 2012 4:43 pm

How can I make a professional looking transit map? Something like these...

I know some maps are made by professional companies like the official NYC subway map, but there are dozens more maps made by amateurs for systems for systems that dont even exist. I need to make this map for a project. Is there a special software I can use?

Inkscape is all you need - a freeware vector graphics editor.
