Whats going on at Doyle's NKP190 site, no updates for almost a year.
Did project run out of steam ???

UP is trying to kick him out of the Brooklyn Roundhouse because they want to develop that end of their yard into an intermodal facility.

Thought the roundhouse belonged to city of portland and was a historical site ???
If Conductors are in charge, why are they promoted to be Engineer???

I think I read that on the Trains News Wire. Here's a link that seems to show #190 just nosing up to the turntable. Zoom in and switch to aerial image & uncheck streets.

Nope...just whats inside is ( other then Doyle's stuff )..

Its not just Doyle trying to get kicked out..its everything there..SP 4449, SP&S 700 and all the other goodies..

well then if they kick doyle out, then why don't they build him and the owners of the other locomotives stored there?

I made a visit to the Brooklyn Roundhouse in March 2009. #190 looked like the restoration effort was progressing.

I think Doyle is tied up with other projects, and gets to work on 190 "when he gets to it."

Isn't Doyle working on the other former D&H PA and restoring it back into it's original ATSF warbonnet paint?

the second PA will be cosmeticly restored after NKP190 (for Smithsonian Museum).

nope..not yet.
its still in Oregon.
virtually no work has been done on this unit since it came back to the US from Mexico.
