CNJ Switchers?

Did the CNJ ever have any sw1500's? Or sw1200's or 1001's? And if so, did any of them have the logo with the statue of liberty painted on them? Does any one have any pictures?

To answer your questions in the order asked.. No, No and No.

They had SC, SW, SW1, SW7 and SW9, as well as NW and NW2 model switchers. (As far as GM products go).

The paint schemes ranged from prewar Pullman green with Railroad Roman C.R.R. of N.J. on the hood, up to the last red scheme(s), plus everything in between. Any paint job done after 1944 (or 1948? not sure) would have included the Statue of Liberty logo.

The Liberty Herald came about in 1947-48, along with the block lettering (whatever that style was called)
