CNJ Military honor roll from Elizabethport Shops

Postby Steve F45 » Mon Sep 09, 2013 9:22 am

I was hoping to win this auction but in the end did not. There was a slide showing what I think was employee's who served in the military who worked for the CNJ. The plaque/statue looks to be really nice at that time and got me wondering, what happened to it after CNJ folded into Conrail? Then eventually into NJT for that short time they were working out of Elizabethport?

I'll attach the link so you can see the picture of the honor roll/plaque/statue

It was displayed in the MMC cafeteria for a while after 9-11.

I worked in the E'port shop in '87 but don't remember seeing it there.
Just be glad you don't have to press "2" for English.

If Cass Elliot shared her sandwich with Karen Carpenter, they'd both be alive today.
