CT-2 and NYC-3

Postby DutchRailnut » Fri Nov 04, 2011 8:32 pm

Wednesday night CT-2 the switcher to Danbury (tilcon) delivered private car heavy weight NYC -3 (portland) to Bethels Sheppards warehouse for winter storage.
The car was still on the Sheppard lead as of Friday night.

I thought that Rings End and Sperry Rail Service were the only customers to maintain sidings on the Danbury Branch, did Sheppard use an old siding or was a new one constructed recently?
