P&W's newly updated corporate web site

Postby johnpbarlow » Fri Apr 29, 2016 9:49 am

I don't know exactly when but sometime in the past month or so P&WRR unveiled a very nicely illustrated revamped website: http://www.pwrr.com/
Included in the content is a list of upcoming excursions for 2016.

Also of possible interest is the PDF of their 2015 Annual Report with its discussion of business trends and capital investment (mostly to attain 286K pound car support on its mainline while keeping track at class 3 standards): http://www.envisionreports.com/PWX/2016/10F09FE16E/f6f948b4003341c09fbaf1d1925d2cd6/ProvidenceWorcester_AR_3.30.16_Secured_V2.pdf

Slick!

That old one was an embarrassment. Every time I visited I kept expecting to see a GeoCities logo in the upper-right corner and one of those "Works best with Netscape" banners at the bottom.

Agreed, although even as bad as it was, it was still 100x better than PAR's former web site. (And that fact that PAR's new web site is 100x better than their old one is a testament to had bad their old one was.)

Kudos to P&W on their modern, attractive, useful new web site!
