How many Regional Railroads

How many Regional Railroads are there in the U.S. and which ones?

In this Forum there are listed 16 railroads in the regional board. Wikipedia lists 34 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Regional_railroad) But is this complete and still current? According to https://www.fra.dot.gov/Elib/Document/14131, p. 4, there were 21 Regionals in 2014! So what is correct? (not to be confused with "Class II railroads" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U ... _railroads (if this aticle is correct at all), because they use other criteria, see https://aslrra.org/web/About/Railroad_D ... 20f42c16e1).

Could you list all Regionals, please?

Thanks
