Did the Berkshires ever haul piggybacks prior to their retirement?

I'm guessing yes, because the 2-8-4s lasted until 1958. Two of NKP's major interchange partners at Buffalo were DL&W and LV. The DL&W began piggyback service in 1954, followed by LV a year later. Thus it seems likely the NKP Berks did handle a few "pig shots" during the twilight of their careers.

Both Trains Magazine and the NKPHTS Quarterly have published pictures of the NKP 700's with TOFC loads in their trains.
