Who purchased KCS 605?

Postby deandremouse » Thu Aug 13, 2009 8:57 am

Hi
I was watching this show on youtube National Geographic Break it Down,
and KCS retiring 2 SD40-3s 672 & 605. 672 was cut up and scrapped while 605 lay untouched. It was then announced later in the show that the unit had been bought by another company.
Ill post links when I find the video.

So wo bought KCS 605?

The Nebraska Northeastern got the 605 and it appears to be operating again. http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=1674830

Good to see it didn't meet the same fate as KCS 672.
