I think my grandfather worked for this railroad. Any tips on how i could find out?

Likely not from the company records. This was a no-hope railroad in a no-hope territory and could not afford to pay its employees the going rate for the industry for all its existence apart from when the government was operating it during both world wars. In 1946 the workers demanded a substantial pay increase, the management said that they would give up if they struck, they struck and the management walked away. The headquarters were at Harrison in Boone County, Arkansas and somehow the townsfolk got the part of the line to the KCS re-opened as the "Arkansas & Ozarks" in 1950. It lasted ten years. As for the old company's records: "Probably went to the crackers round about for asswipe and kindling, but don't quote me on that!"

Could try the public library at Harrison.
