Desert Center CA

Postby corydon » Sat May 25, 2013 11:21 pm

Hi everybody.
Just opened an account here. Love steam engines just like everbody else.
Now, I have a question. Today I stopped in Desert Center CA and walked around. There are a few old buildings, locked, but you can look inside.
Couldn/t believe wahat was inside, a steam engine, without the wheels , but surely the body.
I was just wondering if this is real?
Place some pics in half an hour.

Thanks in advance for any clarification

Thank you Greg, and my apologies.
Here are the pics, is this real or something home made?
Desert Center is of Interstate 10, between Indio and Blythe.
Years ago the restaurants where open, now everything is closed.
Never stopped there anyway, but had to much time on my hands.
This is the building, it is in the part to the far right.

It looks like nobody has been inside for a while.

Here it is, that is just, wel, strange...

The windows are very dirty, or dusty really.

And this is the tender, you look at the rear.

Maybe you guys had this question a thousand times. Thank you in advance for helping me out.
There was also an very old car inside.

Some people just don't understand.
