It has now been 40 years since Hurricane Agnes washed out the WAG tracks at
Pusher Siding in June 1972. A Wellsville bound freight had to return to Galeton
after discovering a washout.

The ICC issued a service order on June 21 to reroute and direct traffic due to
flood damage.

I think that date is incorrect because a website said that Agnes moved into
Pennsylvania on June 23.

Abandonment was approved in 1973 for these 37 miles and the tracks were torn up
in 1973/1974.

All of the r.o.w. still exists today from Galeton to Wellsville.

I thought the WAG trail was dead out of Wellsville, but it has a page at the NYS Dept. of Environemntal Conservation:
