The description mentioning Ford St I think is in Bridgeport. The tracks referred to were down at the end of my street (Ford) and near the Schuylkill if I remember right. We used to watch troop trains headed for embarcation to Europ from Philly during the the war. My Dad was a foreman at the Bridgeport Roundhouse in the 40's and 50's before he retired in 1955.

I forgot to mention I am interested in any photo of that Bridgeport RH, I lost all mine in a computer crash some years back. I forgot who emailed them to me.

Hal- Actually wasn't completely abandoned until the early 80s..
