As per a good source, the Central of Georgia unit #8101 is in Bison Yard now. She will lead NS 36T on the Tier this afternoon. The crew reports for duty at 1 PM EDT.

The Honoring Our Veterans unit #6920 is trailing on NS W10 today. The train crossed the Genesee Arch Bridge about half an hour ago.

The CNJ unit is on NS local H77 today. As per several photos I've seen on FB, #1071 was leading the train on eastbound move in Elmira late this morning.

The Reading unit #1067 is the 2nd of 3 engines on NS 310 today. The train was spotted in greater Buffalo a little over an hour ago, and should arrive in Binghamton later today.

True..but..
The "spotting and reporting of heritage units" and evolved and changed..
On heritage units dot com, they dont list strictly heritage units, only..
they also list rare and unusual locomotives of several classifications..
old patched paintschemes about to be totally phased out: CNW, SP, etc.
Operation lifesaver units..
and some other types..

Whether or not they "deserve" to be included is debatable..
but IMO, if its listed on the heritage units site, then its worthy to be reported in this thread..
simply because they are uncommon and unusual units that people are interested in..

the FEC unit is *not* on the HU site..but should it still be reported in this thread?
IMO, sure, why not.. its fine.. simply because its an uncommon and unusual units that people are interested in..

This thread doesn't get a lot of use, and these old traditional forums are dying off, facebook groups are killing them.
We should encourage participation in railroad.net, not discourage it..

Anyone seen the Interstate unit today? Should be somewhere around Binghamton right now. (Tuesday evening 7/17) all the usual groups have nothing about it..strange.
