Yes, https://www.flickr.com/photos/russnelso ... ed-family/ This is the same D&H bridge over the Normanskill. You can tell by looking at the trees. But notice that the new bridge, if there is a new bridge, will include rail! That means there is still hope!

Well - goes what I (and others) have said all along - the existing bridge couldn't even support its own weight.

But, you can call me a naysayer that may be proven wrong. These things actually stand a chance after all...

An asbestos-abatement crew is on-site at Colonie, and appear to be working on two of the passenger cars and the Albany Port RS3. Is this preparation for scrapping or saving?

Not sure why you would need all that if the equipment was going to be used. My guess is the end is near for those pieces. I'd love to be wrong.
