You want more pictures, right?

So, the plot thickens. I guarantee that the JW was still carrying freight in 1941, and all the way to their last days in 1950. However, the 1942 Erie Railroad track chart (at this site: http://railsandtrails.com/TC/EL/index.htm) lists what I believe to be the same material from the val maps I've already listed. See the snippet below that I labeled. Again, this is not my map, but a portion of a single map you can see at the above link.

So, we're going to skip ahead to 1981. Conrail. For those looking, this line is in the Youngstown Division. You may notice that the snip I've posted below looks pretty similar to 1942. The JC, The Erie, The EL, they're all gone. So this is clearly served by Conrail, but I have no idea how much traffic any of these locations could have been generating. The next several I'll post come from here: http://www.multimodalways.org/archives/rrs/CR/CR%20Track%20Charts/CR%20Track%20Charts.html

In 1983, though, the line through Jamestown is listed as a part of the "Southern Tier District." You see the same location, and a "sub" at that location, but no more detail.

Yep. There it is. Couldn't say, obviously, what shape it's in.
