-Early Wednesday morning saw NS 38G holding at the Viaduct in Philadelphia, waiting to cross the Delair Bridge into South Jersey. NS 7301(SD70ACU), a former Union Pacific SD9043MAC which was rebuilt by Norfolk Southern this past July, was in the lead.
Fortunately I had my camera with me, so I gave it an attempt at a couple of night photographs.

WPCA11 now has a pair of SD40E3 rebuilds for power, seen yesterday at Center Square Road in Logan.

SMS was also working yesterday with the ex-Santa Fe B23-7. They started working the interchange just minutes after Conrail dropped cars there.

Tuesday's NS 39G had Pavonia's NS 5269 and Operation Lifesaver NS 5267, dead in tow. Both were built for Penn Central in 1973.

WPCA11 picked up the recent 506 coal train power, NS 7217 (SD80MAC) and 3662 (ET44AC) in Deepwater today for servicing at Pavonia. Due to the cold weather last night, one or both engines may have dumped their water.

A rare daylight 62X stone train traversed the Beesleys Point Secondary this morning with a Dash 9 and SD70ACe for power. A broken rail on the Delair Bridge was the delay culprit for the daylight run.
