Haven't but probably should, that would be a really awesome chase, do you happen to know where SA2 runs to with more regularity and if it has somewhat of a schedule?

SA2 runs to Mauser 1 to 2 times a week. More often it runs M & Th, but can run any day of the week. Typically runs early afternoon. Mauser is in Highview Industrial Park just east of Ryders Lane. This time of year they'll be hand-cranking the South River bridge shut for train to run. When bridge is closed good chance the train's at Mauser.

Saw the steel mill train leaving Browns Yard today at 6:30pm. NS 5271, 1 flat car, and 10 gondolas. Once again no Splat car.

I saw the transfer run heading south on the "Garden State Secondary" toward Brown's Yard around 1:30pm today, two engines, 59 cars. Presumably the front cut of 15 or so tank cars are intended for Port Reading, the rest for Brown's Yard.
No photos...was driving the Turnpike just south of Linden

SA22 had CSXT 2812 and 4415 on Monday, brought 3 loads to the Steel mill and brought about 8 empties back. Today the power looked to be 4419 and 2812. SA2 ran to Silverline today and used CSX 4415 which also went out on SA33 later.

Nice work! You got her going out and coming back. Those are really short trains. What time did she reach the mill and then leave the mill?

This afternoon at 1:06 PM I saw OI-16 in Union as it was visiting the Lehigh Line headed westbound because of track work on the Garden State Secondary, the power was SD40-2 #3429 and SD45-2 #1701

I was driving past Brown's Yard on Monday night and was stopped at the crossing on Bordentown Ave. By what appeared to be a steel train. Train was lead by the EL SD45. It seemed like a big locomotive for a 5 car train!

I passed Browns Yard today and there were so many high-sided gondolas and several coil cars. I never saw coil cars in Browns Yard before. Perhaps The Gerdau Steel mill is benefiting from the 25% tariff on foreign steel.

OEG moved into the old Minteq site just west of the yard, they get the coil cars.
