January Order Board posted:

http://naugy.blogspot.com/2011/01/order ... nuary.html

Thomaston Station Reversionary Rights Resolved

Thanks to a lengthy pursuit by RMNE Trustee Ed McAnaney and the assistance of Torrington commercial realtor Vance Taylor, a purchase and sale agreement has been received by the RMNE from rights holder Jay Horowitz for Thomaston Station. This will give the RMNE full control of the station’s future and opens the door to pursue funding for a major restoration project. Additional details will appear in an upcoming issue of “Along the Line.”

From Video it seems the snow plow on B-Boat did more than the snowplow in front of it :-)
If Conductors are in charge, why are they promoted to be Engineer???

The U-Boat's pilot plow did plenty of work south, between the shop and Highland Junction, as the Russell only goes one way. The benefit of the Russell is its flanger, but the flanger must be lifted at switches, bridges, crossings, and anywhere with high ballast. The plow and its wings certainly did plenty on the way north between Highland Junction and Chase and then again from the Dam to Torrington. There was some major "re-organization" of some large snow piles done by the wings in Torrington!
See! That there's yer problem!

I was reading the blog. Had no idea we could expect a C424 at the naugy in the near future. I'm assuming that it's at the Adirondack Scenic. The blog said it was #4243.

So, RMNE owns New Haven #300. Where is it located? I didn't see an electric locomotive parked at chase yard when i was on the naugy in august.

That's right. It is stored elsewhere, not open to the public.

What's left of it is stored in Old Saybrook at the RMNE yard.
If you ride the 10:00 AM Valley Railroad train on May 7, you'll roll right past it.

I would have guessed it would have been moved by now. I'm guessing there isn't space for it right now?

I am told that the hulk of the EF-4 (E-33) is going to the Illinois Railway Museum in exchange for some traction motors.
In any case, all that stuff has to be moved out of Old Saybrook by December 10.

http://articles.courant.com/2010-07-09/ ... rs-removal

Now, the town and the museum have agreed on something else: a timeline for the cars' removal. This week, the board of selectmen voted to accept the museum's proposal for clearing the 20-odd cars from the site, a process that will be completed no later than Dec. 10, 2011. In return, Old Saybrook has agreed to waive the $100-per-day fine it is entitled to impose via a local blight ordinance enacted nearly two years ago.

You've been "told"? By whom? Don't recall any announcement from RMNE on the subject...
