My first thought was, "Oh, SW-7 or so."

But looking more closely, there's a small "1GS7B" written on the cab - that makes it one of National Railway Equipment's Cummins-powered switchers. Trainorders.com says it's based off a SW frame and trucks though, which is definitely evident.

National Railway Equipment (NRE) is a "kitbasher" They kinda do it like model railroading except they do it on the real thing.

They buy components from dead locos such as trucks, frames, body, etc. They put a bunch of parts together and create a gen-set locomotive.

!GS7B means:

1 = 1 prime mover
GS = GenSet
7 = 700 HP
B = Wheel arrangement

They have 2 other models, 3GS14B and 3GS14C (4 axle and 6 axle genset switchers with 3 genset prime movers)

Close... you're thinking of the 2GS14B (2 engines, 1400 HP, 4 axles), 3GS21B (3 engines, 2100 HP, 4 axles), and 3GS21C (3 engines, 2100 HP, 6 axles.

NRE also makes a centercab version of the 1GS7B
