Any new NYA customers???

The loss of NYA customers has been discussed recently, but has NYA added any new customers??? Do they seek out new business, or wait to be approached? Thanks.

IMO, I think NY&A is letting Brookhaven Rail Terminal do most of the marketing for new off-rail customers in Suffolk.
Couldn't find a client list on their website (possibly hidden somewhere, possibly not), but the wiki entry stated 11 customers in 2014 - although, was Entennmann's bakery one of those clients? Because the Bay Shore bakery was closed in 2014.

Hmm, remember this story from 2 months ago?
"Record demand for industrial real estate on Long Island" (Newsday, so all paywall bets are off)
Amid improving economic conditions, growth in e-commerce and demand for space from New York City businesses moving east, rental prices for Long Island warehouses and factory buildings have reached records, and sales prices are high as well.
...
In some cases, older industrial properties are selling for more than high-end offices, “an incredible phenomenon,” Shwom said.
The demand — and a short supply of industrial space — have led developers and companies to make decisions that buck established trends.

Short supply, eh? Maybe you shouldn't have been so eager to convert existing industrial space to big box retail which stands half empty or crappy townhouse units.

D&M lumber installed a new siding in Maspeth to increase the number of cars they can transload there.
