J Leighty wrote:The official name is Stourbridge Railroad. If you go on to our Yahoo group website and join our group, you can then go to our photo section and enjoy the photos that we have posted. M&E belongs to our group and gave us a copy of their new logo for the line which we have posted there. It is very colorful and will look great on any engines or rolling stock that it is applied to in the future.

Key word from MJK is "Employee" Anyway, Stourbridge Railroad is the name of the PREVIOUS operator of the line in queston, Dick Robey still has the rights to the name Stourbridge Railroad. We cant do business under the name of someone elses company. Yes very colorfull indeed that new logo, I will post a pic of it right after I apply it on any engines or rolling stock. Upright and on the rail any deviation from this is a problem.

The Stourbridge Railway will be participating in a PLANNED,STAGED, MOCK, SIMULATION of a grade crossing incident near Hawley, PA. Tommorow 4/24/2010. This is a multi agency training exercise that will include local, Fire, EMS, Hazardous Materials, and Emergency Managment response personel. This exercise will SIMULATE a school bus being struck by a train on a grade crossing.

The last post in this thread is almost 2 years old.

Is the M&E still trying to get freight business on the Stourbridge?

What is going on with M&E??? Lots of alleged corruption with the 2 management men down here in NJ, and now they wasted more money on toy things, when it was supposed to go towards Stourbridge rehab???

Wait, I will bet that the owner will scrap this railroad. In 10 years the NYS&W, NORTH SHORE & M&E received a total of almost 8 million dollars
for track work. Between all the thugs that were involved in the Stourbridge they have milked it to the point of no return.I hope i live to see PA. Ag's office put's all of them in jail
