I got to the Olean yard today about 11:45am.

630m #630 pulled M636 #638 out of the enginehouse.

C430 #430 was also in front of the enginehouse.

RS3u #506 was behind the enginehouse. Along with M630 #631 and another unit (RRPX ??) which was blocked from view.

I left and came back about an hour later.

C430 #430 was now coupled to C425 #427, C424 #426 and C424m #435.

I headed to Farmer's Valley to check out the former PS&N branch. (OT: I found about a half mile of PS&N track still in place after the wax factory. Just laying in the weeds. A siding was next to it the whole way.)

Coming back through Eldred I saw a 4 unit train southbound with CSXT sand or salt hoppers. I had plans so I could not chase it.

About 2 hours later, I saw C425 #427, C424 #426 and C424m #435 returning from a run to Salamanca. The B&P ran an Extra to Salamanca where the WNY&P picked up the cars. Approx. 54 cars.

Congrats to the WNY&P! Business seems to be GREAT! Two 4 unit trains today...

Good to hear it's busy on the old Erie. And ALCOs make everything better.
